The Bushed Tucker fundraising campaign is a unique way to bring people together for a great meal and at the same time, support a worthy cause.
Bushed Australia is a charity that supports children’s education and families in remote and isolated regions of Australia. Over 6000 children each year are born into this demographic. The need to provide educational support is extensive particularly due to the isolation of distances. Associated with this isolation is the need to provide families, especially mums with post natal assistance and support to help them bring their families up and prepare them for remote learning when they reach school age.
Campaign Aim.
With the assistance of venues all over Australia, we seek to raise $250,000 in 2023 / 2024 to support children and families. These funds will allow Bushed to provide exceptional support to these families and children. It will mean that we can make in excess of 100 volunteer tutor placements, provide 500 mums with one on one assistance and provide $50,000 in financial assistance to support distance learning.
When you dine at any participating venue and purchase a promotional meal $2 from that meal value will be donated to BushED. You can find out which meal they are promoting when you visit a venue by looking for the Bushed Tucker promotional flyer in the venue.. If you can’t see the promo when you enter, Ask for It. Venues
We invite venues across Australia to support this campaign with a $2 donation per promotional meal sold.
To participate in this campaign and engage your customers, simply register via this link and we will send you a promotional POS poster where you can write your meal of the week or month for promotion.
We will also send a series of promotional social media tiles that can be used to promote your participation. Registration is free, you can run the promotion whenever you choose, once a week, a month, a specific time of the year, completely up to you.
We will also send you a letter of Authority to Fundraise on Bushed Australia’s behalf.
Bushed Australia will be promoting it as a “November” each year promotion but venues are free to support and use the promotion when they choose.
Media and press coverage will be conducted each November to support the campaign.
